In a post shared on his Facebook page, Gumi argued that annihilating terrorists should only be carried out by clean, holy hands, not by another “terrorist”like the US government whose hands are ‘’stained with the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent children, women, and men''. He said China, Turkey or Pakistan are better options to seek for military assistance than the US.
He also argued that dropping a few bombs here and there cannot tackle the menace of terror.
He opined that the fight against terrorism would require serious military on the ground, which, if Nigeria is serious about, has enough military personnel to prosecute the war.
He called on the Nigerian government to halt all military operations with the US following this recent military action on the North West by the US government.
