Cristiano Ronaldo affirms that he has no immediate plans to retire from sport.

Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed he's not planning to retire from football anytime soon.

The 40-year-old Portugal captain was awarded the Globe Prestige award at the Portugal Football Globes ceremony, where he was asked about his short-term plans for the future.

The Portuguese responded that he still feels good playing, although he knows he does not have much time left. 

"I want to keep playing for a few more years, not many… I have to be honest. 

I’m still producing good things, helping my club and the National Team.

 Why not continue? I’m sure when I retire, I’ll leave fulfilled because I gave everything…Right now, I’m enjoying the moment.

 I know I don’t have many years left to play, but the little time I do have, I have to enjoy it to the fullest," he said. 

"I have a philosophy of living day by day. No long-term plans. I enjoy each day and each training session…Our goal is to win the next two games and qualify for the World Cup. What happens at the World Cup, we’ll see," he concluded.

The Al Nassr striker returns to action with Portugal during the October international break, where the Portuguese will face Ireland on 11th October and Hungary on 14th October in their next two World Cup qualifiers.

Barca never had financial room to register Olmo -La Liga

 La Liga said Wednesday Barcelona did not have the financial capacity to register players Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and still lack it, ahead of a decision by Spain’s sports council (CSD) over the duo’s eligibility to play. In January Barcelona announced a deal had been reached to sell VIP boxes at the club’s Camp Nou stadium, currently being rebuilt, worth a reported 100 million euros ($108 million), which gave them the financial fair play room for new licences for the players.
