Man United Takes a Hit Due to Bryan Mbeumo's Demanding Cameroon Schedule


 Manchester United have been handed a fresh headache as Bryan Mbeumo faces the prospect of extended international duty with Cameroon.

The 25-year-old winger could be forced into high-stakes World Cup play-offs this autumn, after the Indomitable Lions slipped up in qualification.

Cameroon suffered a damaging 1-0 defeat to Cape Verde, leaving them four points adrift of the group leaders with two matches left.

Cameroon Facing Play-Off Route

Despite a strong start, Cameroon’s campaign has faltered with frustrating draws against Angola, Eswatini, and Libya. That inconsistency now leaves their hopes hanging by a thread.To qualify, they must first finish among the four best runners-up. At present, they sit fifth, narrowly missing the cut on goal difference.

Upcoming fixtures against Mauritius and Angola are now must-win games if they are to keep their World Cup dream alive, reports MEN.

If they finish second, Cameroon would then face a gruelling four-team play-off in November, consisting of a semi-final and final.

Success there would only lead to more pressure, as another two matches await in March during the inter-confederation play-offs.

This schedule spells potential trouble for Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim, who could lose Mbeumo for multiple international windows.

With every match carrying knockout intensity, United risk seeing their winger fatigued or sidelined just as the Premier League season reaches its busiest stage.

Barca never had financial room to register Olmo -La Liga

 La Liga said Wednesday Barcelona did not have the financial capacity to register players Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and still lack it, ahead of a decision by Spain’s sports council (CSD) over the duo’s eligibility to play.
