But, there is a new twist in the tale, if Football Transfers are to be believed.
The report claims that even though Sporting are ready to sell their star striker, they have ‘stipulated that the vast majority of Gyokeres’ potential transfer fee must be paid within two years’.
This condition, according to the outlet, could prove to be a ‘stumbling block’ for Arsenal in their pursuit of the prolific Swede.
