Viktor Gyokeres is high up on Arsenal’s wish list for the upcoming summer transfer window.


The Sweden international is one of the most prolific strikers in world football, and he is expected to leave Sporting CP before the start of next season.

Andrea Berta is said to be a big fan of Gyokeres, and Arsenal could make a move to sign him after realising that Alexander Isak will be impossible to land.

But, what seemed like a straightforward deal for Gyokeres could now get a bit more complicated for the Gunners.

Gyokeres is the striker Berta wants, and his £60 million price tag makes him far more affordable than someone like Isak.

But, there is a new twist in the tale, if Football Transfers are to be believed.

The report claims that even though Sporting are ready to sell their star striker, they have ‘stipulated that the vast majority of Gyokeres’ potential transfer fee must be paid within two years’.

This condition, according to the outlet, could prove to be a ‘stumbling block’ for Arsenal in their pursuit of the prolific Swede.
